The motto of the city of Modena is “Avia Pervia”, a latin expression which means “to make difficult things easy”. In the same way, PerFormS takes hard challenges to come out victorious. The first challenge PerFormS is facing is about a natural molecule with strong anti-inflammatory activity. Despite this, it is not yet employed in the medical practice, as it cannot cross human tissues due to its poor solubility…or rather, until now! Indeed, with the help of nanotechnology, in PerForms laboratories it was made possible what seemed to be impossible: this molecule was finally made soluble and able to cross human barriers. After many hours spent in the laboratory trying to design the best way to deliver this promising natural molecule our efforts were rewarded; the solubility test repeated several times showed always the same result: a very high solubility! We never gave-up and we finally made it!

The story of PerFormS began with the graph in the picture. It has been and will continue to be a story of innovation, research and hard work, a story to make what is difficult easy and make it affordable for everyone. So now another challenge awaits us: to bring our discovery to the market and make it available as a natural alternative to cortisone.
